Waiting on Wednesday ^^OMIGOSH! Tell me if I’m overreacting.^^

It’s that time again where YOU tell the blogging world about the books you’re MOST anxious for. This is a very awesometastical meme hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine.

I LOVE talking books and reading them, but let’s face it… Who loves to wait for them?

Not a freaking soul. (Well.. maybe you do. But no judgment here.) 😉

So my fellow book devourers it is actually happening. OMG. Still my rapidly beating heart.

No. Seriously. I’m reaching cardiac arrest here…

Popular author of The Lux series Jennifer L. Armentrout, announced that a companion novel to the series will be released, called Oblivion, BUT told in Daemon Black’s POV. (A.K.A. the reason for my throbbing heart, A.K.A. the main male protagonist) The depressing part is that it’s set to release in December.

*Sighs, then proceeds to wail loudly in a dark corner.*

Those of  you that have been following my posts for a while just KNOW how much I love me some Daemon Black. Mm hm.

I so can not stop myself from staring at this picture. Those eyes…Oh. Those eyes.

Whilst making this post I thought it was a coincidence because I was totally swooning over Daemon Black yesterday in one of my discussion posts.

(Also, many of you guys helped me find some new book boo’s. I HEART each and every one of you guys for like, EVA. You really turned me onto some good books that I can’t wait to get into.)

You guys are the realest! –> BTW, I have no idea what that means.

But, back to Oblivion– The best part is that it’s going to be told in Daemon’s POV. Usually I don’t care for ‘re-tellings’ in a different perspecive but ah heck, who am I kidding?? This is Daemon Black we’re talking about here.

OMG. OMG. OMG. OMG. OMG. (I could not contain the unstoppable feels shooting through me.)

If anyone wants to have a Daemon Black it is MOA. For those of you book lovers that have not discovered Daemon Black, OMGEEE, you guys are really missing out chicos.

                                          Like. Really.

He’s rude, arrogant, but with a soft side that goes deeper and explains the reason for his bad attitude and less than stellar disposition. He’s just… THE defenition of swoon. (But don’t worry, you can totally disagree with  me.) 😉

                                     Over to you:

What are YOUR picks this week? Do you think I’m overreacting? (You can tell me yes. I don’t bite…. Most of the time) And most importantly, are you going to/have you read The Lux Series?? Lastly, I’m writing this post right before I head to bed so my eyes are going all droopy and stuff, so you guys let me know if you notice any pesky errors and I’ll just blame it on the fact that I’m tired. Tee hee.

  1. LOL. You are too much! I have the first book in the Lux series, but I just haven’t gotten to it yet. I’m anxiously waiting for the Court of Thorns and Roses, and probably a bunch more but I’m really behind on my reading so I’m focusing on some already released stuff ;).

    • Tee hee. At least you didn’t tell me I was over reacting because I feel like I was just all over the place with this one. Just *sigh* excited. 😉

  2. I only have read the first two books in this series and not sure if I want to read the rest, I did enjoy them, but I am not sure if I am interested enough to continue the series. In my opinions retellings from a different point of view can be done well, although I haven’t read a lot of them. I hope you’ll enjoy this book once it’s released and those waits for the next book can really feel long.

    • They ALWAYS are long and I can’t wait to finally have it in my hands. Sorry you didn’t like the first two that much. I don’t know why I’m so obsessed over them. Tee hee. 🙂

  3. Nope, not overreacting at all. I didn’t know this, but I did a big gasp and clap at your news that Daemon gets his own book.

Yeah, December is a tough wait.

    • And because of that Sophia, I HEART you. Hehe thanks for telling me I wasn’t overreacting because I was literally fan girling over Daemon and the fact that he fits his own book. *winning* 🙂

  4. Is it sad that I haven’t started this series? I mean, I’ve had the first book forever. Yet, I haven’t had the urge to read it. Maybe I’ll give it a go soon and then I can fangirl with you.

  5. Oh wow, I’ve only read the first book in the Lux series (I know, I have my priorities all wrong!) but it’s wonderful to know that there’s going to be another book from Daemon’s POV! And you’re never overreacting when it comes to books! Book news is always important!! 😀

  6. Haha Keionda, I feel sad that I haven’t read this series now, I want to know what all the hype is about Daemon Black!! I hope December comes quickly for you lovely. My most anticipated book right now is Sarah J Maas’s new book to her ToG series! EEEEP, September cannot come fast enough 😛

    • I’ve said it a million times and I’ll say it again Joy, I can’t wait to dig into the ToG series. To say I feel left out that I haven’t read this series yet is such an understatement. 🙁

  7. I’ve only read books 1 and 2 in the Lux series but I did enjoy Daemon and Kat’s banter! I should really continue on with this series. Or I may just jump along and read Oblivion because Daemon’s POV. I can understand your happiness 😉

    • I so can not wait for Oblivion to come out. And I’ve heard a lot of people say they didn’t care for the series as a whole and only read the first one. I’m just like what the whaaaattt? You should give it another try girl one day. 😉

  8. RO

High Five for all that wonderful enthusiasm and fun! Hugs and keep doing what you do! Ro

  9. Hmm… I think this could be good, the problem is I have only read the first book, so I have some serious catching up to do!

  10. There is no overreacting when it comes to books. Fangirling all the way! (also I’m slowly going through your posts and I seem to have a lot to say… haha no stalking intended).
I am anxious for more Sarah J. Maas books. The men she writes are just all so swoon-worthy.
