KEIONDA IS BACK

I’m totally aware that October isn’t even over yet.

But since it has ben a while since I’ve been here and I’ve been literally missing you guys like cray cray (And I totally stalked your blogs but was totally quiet the whole time and didn’t leave many comments which is SO not like me) Since this is the very first time I’m attempting to do a monthly recap, I’m oddly excited to tell you guys about what I’ve been doing and why the heck I’ve been so MIA as of late.  If you can’t tell, and if I didn’t say it like a million times before, YAWL, I’M SO HAPPY FOR FALL!! GAH! So yeah.

keileiwrites

Ha. More like Keionda DOESN’T write.

I HAVE NOT WRITTEN. I HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING. I am such a fail you guys. It’s so sad.

I’m not going to lie. I was really questioning writing for a while. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do it anymore. But as soon as I stopped and thought about not doing it, the more it came to me and the more I NEEDED to do. I didn’t particularly want to do it at the time, but I NEEDED to if that makes any sense. You guys ever have something that you despise doing, but you find that you can’t live without it? (Wow, I sound like I’m talking about drugs or something) I’m pretty sure God was whispering in my ear telling me not to qui and to keep going. SOOOOO, since it’s November (A.K.A. National Writing Month) I’ve decided that this is the month that I’m going to get amped and excited about writing again.

I’ve written, I think like 25 books so far (All YA/Fantasy books) And I’m not going to stop. I can’t. I have so much planned and I can’t wait to share it with you guys!!

Very quick rundown of my life so far:

  1. Grad school has me in the books like ALL DAY LONG.
  2. I still have NO idea what I want to do with my life. (Surprise?)
  3. I’ve been in the worst writing, blogging,  reading and social media slump of MY LIFE.
  4. I’m trying to lose weight before Christmas so now I carry around half a gallon of water with me so I’ll be more encouraged to drink it throughout the day.

I’m also totally happy that summer is out of here so now we have a break from all the heat. I really want Candy Corn like nobody’s business. And I’m super happy that the heat is now gone BYE BYE.

I no lie.

Now it's your turn 2

So yeah, that’s all you need to know about me for right now. In which care you WANT to know more about me, then don’t hesitate to question me in the comments. But now I need to know how you guys been doing? WHAT’S NEW, YAWL?? OHHH! And, sweet tea or coffee?

  1. HEY! Welcome back! I missed your reviews! And by the way, I’m trying to do mumber 4 too! 😉 I haven’t written, editted, revised anything and I’m still working almost 12-14 hours per day…

    • Thank you love! I’m so glad to be back! I missed you guys!♡♡ and YESSS I know exactly how you feel! I work all day and am usually too tired to write. 🙁 I hope we both get it together soon!:)

  2. RO

What?! I was just about to send a note asking when you were coming back and here you are Yay!!! Kudos on grad school. Looks like October was the month for lots of thoughts, feels, and hurts, but thank goodness for blogging friends. Big Hugs and welcome back!!!!😁😁😁

    • YESSS I’m back Ro!♡♡ I missed you guys!♡♡ and yes, even though October was kind of rough I need to get my act togethr ! Now I can come and stalk your blog again 😉 And YES. Grad school…. omg GRAD SCHOOL. 😅

  3. Sounds like you’ve been super-busy! Weight loss is tough. I’m trying that myself but this time of year there are SO many food temptations around.

    • IKR Stephanie?? It’s so hard with all the good food around and let not add in the fact that now IT’S THE HOLIDAYS. PIE. CAKE. STUFFING. CASSEROLE. ALL. THE. FOOD. 🙁

    Welcome back, lady!
I wondered if you were buried under the school books in a master’s program and looks like I guessed right. Wishing you well.

Yay and glad writing is one of your soul projects and you need it. That’s how I feel about it, too. I’m signed up for NaNoWriMo and I also contracted for a book in the new year so I’ve got to have my writing mojo going. This is really my interesting news- the rest is living and loving the daily life. 😉

I’m fine with quiet visits and just peeking in. You’re always welcome even if you don’t have anything to say. Nice that you could pop in with an update post, but naturally with school, writing and real life, it’s fine if you have to keep it on the down-low for a while.

    • OMG SO YOU’RE GOING TO PUBLISH A BOOK??? OMG OMG OMG I’m so happy for you! I know for how long you’ve been wanting it and how much you like to write!♡♡ you have to let me more about it as the time nears! And if you ever need a writing buddy, I’m here!♡♡

  5. Welcome back!
Good luck with school and writing and blogging and all that stuff. Have you heard of blogilates? I’m doing the beginners challenge right now and it’s been so much fun. All the workouts you need are free and so easy/effective. Here’s the link if you are interested: http://www.blogilates.com/blog/2014/12/30/new-beginners-calendar-2-0-for-2015/

I struggle with drinking so much water because I have the bladder of a raisin…

    • Ohhhh thank youuuuu! I can’t wait to try it out!♡♡♡ I carry around a half a gallon bottle so I’ll get all the needed daily water BUT having a small bladder… THAT could be complicated! But hey, at least you’re trying love! And thank you again!♡

  6. Welcome back! Thought I should drop a quick note that I’m no longer book blogging. However, I’m still very much alive in the blogosphere. I recently started a business/personal blog. 🙂 And tea, always tea 🙂

    • Thanks P!♡♡ and I know:( I found out the hard way when I went to go and totally stalk your blog but then find that your domain doesn’t exist anymore. 🙁 but I’m glad that you’ll still be here! That way we can still talk!♡♡

  7. It’s good to see you updating! Totally get the slump though – sometimes it just hits you, but I know you’ll find something to really motivate you again. And Nanowrimo will be great motivation! Also totally was going to say sweet tea, but now that you mention candy corn, I’m going to go with option three. 😀

  8. Good luck with all of your endeavors, school, blogging, writing, etc. I’m glad that you will be back. I’ve missed you, though I completely understand how you have to step away. It can get tough to juggle everything. Finding what you want to do with your life can be very difficult. My career kinda fell into my lap. I took a job right out of college just to do until I could find a career. Next thing I know, I’m running the store’s website and digital marketing. Even though I’m no longer with that store (I was there 12 years), I’m still in the career they basic shoved on me. I’m not hugely passionate about it, but I enjoy it and I’m pretty good at it. It pays the bills and gives me money to do what I love. I have my horses and my books, so that works for me. 🙂 I hope that you will find something that will work for you. Having a graduate degree will help, even if it ends up being in something besides what your final career is in. It shows that you have the drive to get things done. A graduate degree isn’t easy (I’m assuming, I don’t have one. Just BS degrees). I’m sure you can do it. 🙂

  9. Aaaaand, she’s back! YAY!!!! I’ve missed you, girl! So glad that your happy, fun, positive, sassy, talented self is back in the blogosphere. 🙂 I think I did a triple take when you mentioned that you’ve written 25 books. I bow to your greatness! Sorry that you’ve been so horribly slumpy. It happens. Mine never seem to last too long (thankfully) but even so… no fun. It’s still pretty warm where I am but not stifling hot like over the summer so I’ll take what I can get. And sweet tea! Always, always sweet tea! (I live in the South… I think it’s illegal to not drink sweet tea.)

    • Awww STAHPPP! *tear* I’m so glad to be back and to be able to talk to everyone again! Gosh, I missed you guys so much! I wish I could have been more productive like you during my break and read more books but alas. I fail whaled big time. Now you’re making me want SWEET TEA!! And OMG, I didn’t know you lived in the south?? ME TOOOOO! Born and raised!♡♡♡♤♤

YAY girl welcome back! I am so glad that school has been good to you, although keeping you very very busy. I can’t speak for grad school, but my final year is keeping me epically busy as well. Oh, and I hope your writing, blogging, reading and social media inspiration comes back to you soon! Sometimes you have something you need to do because it’s your outlet or just life itself. It’s your true passion, and even at times you despise it, I’m sure you’ll come to love it once again soon <3 Just hang in there 😉

    • I hope I get out of this slump too because it is SO not fun! I haven’t even really been able to write! 🙁 and omg you’re a senior?? I didn’t know that! Have fun and enjoy this time because it passes super fast!♡♡

  11. Welcome back! It does sound like you’ve been busy. And I totally get what you’re saying about not wanting to do something but still needing to do it! And yay for drinking lots of water! But as per your question, I don’t drink tea or coffee lol. I don’t like either. Well I drink kombucha sometimes which is technically tea I guess… but I drink that ’cause it’s good for me not really because of the taste lol.

    • Kombucha?? What the heck is that?? I’m all for trying new things though! But I kind of drink coffee for the taste so om pretty sure this Kombucha and I so would not get along! Haha!

  12. Between you and Cait, you could join forces and completely take over the author market. Holy shit Kei, that’s impressive. I’m so sorry Grad School is kicking your ass, it’s the time of year when everyone is so busy in the US especially. We haven’t forgotten about our Kei Kei though <3 when are you due for holidays? Make sure you hit me up on twitter so we can catch up properly, if you're not too waterlogged by then 😀 I've missed you! <3

    • Teehee! I know Cait can write pretty fast too! <3 Things are getting a little better with school since we’re getting closer to the end. I’LL BE SO GLAD WHEN I HAVE A BREAK, KELS! <3 I’ve missed you too! And I’ll def get with you on Twitter! You always make me smile when I read your Tweets! 🙂

  13. You have written 25 books? Wow, that’s incredible. When do we get to read one?
And yeah, I guess we shouldn’t have complained about how October was because November has been 1000 times worse 🙁

    • Realllyyyy? I’m sorry November hasn’t been such a good month for you! I was hoping that since it’s closer to the holidays that everything would be a little… jollier? I hope it gets better for you, love! And I hope to share some of my work with you guys SUPER SOON! <3
