From Jennifer L. Armentrout, author of the Covenant series, comes an unforgettable prequel novella to the New York Times bestselling Lux series. The last thing Dawson Black expected was Bethany Williams. As a Luxen, an alien life form on Earth, human girls are...well, fun. But since the Luxen have to keep their true identities a secret, falling for one would be insane. Dangerous. Tempting. Undeniable.Bethany can't deny the immediate connection between her and Dawson. And even though boys aren't a complication she wants, she can't stay away from him. Still, whenever they lock eyes, she's drawn in. Captivated. Lured. Loved.Dawson is keeping a secret that will change her existence...and put her life in jeopardy. But even he can't stop risking everything for one human girl. Or from a fate that is as unavoidable as love itself.
I did a review on this a while back (when I was still still a tiny baby newbie book blogger.) (I still kind of am a baby book blogger….a little less insecure and comfortable in my own skin but still a newb anyway.)
So not your AVERAGE romance.
Just imagine if you’re new at a school and the very first guy you just so happened to have a and crush on is…AN ALIEN…
But then what if you were also that ONE girl that was so lucky that you had an entire galaxy on your trail after one night of kissing when the guy you liked did something that would change your life forEVA??
Yeah, it IS just as dramatical as it sounds. This story is so unique and so mystery packed that you never really know what the heck is going on or when something is going to go on…but when it does you’re just all like… WTF YO!??
Kisses, Kisses, AND MORE kisses.
There’s not much drama but omg does Armentrout KNOW what’s she’s doing when she’s writing a romance. I loved the moments between the two characters Bethany and Dawson.
The action of course is rich, jam-packed akth the PERFECT words so that you can feel that you’re the one dishing out all the punches and what not. In short, IT’S AMAZE-BALLS, YAWWLL! It was like I was the one engaging in the act of kissing just by reading the pages. Armentrout IS DA QUEEN of writing about the locking of the lips, LEMEE TELL YA.
In short, if you guys take away anything from this review, please understand the importance of reading this book if you are one of the unfortunate ones that have get to get this world and all its glory in your pretty little hands.
Have you guys ever tried out a JLA book? And for those of you that HAVE read this book, who would you choose and why? Daemon of Dawson? And for those of you that haven’t read it, OMMERGERRSSHH WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU WAITING FOR??
