‘Tis SO, SO, Sad I’ve Never Read This Series ^^ Wishlist Wednesday

It’s Wishlist Wednesday, hosted by Pen to Paper, where YOU talk about the books you’ve been virtually sitting on for quite some time. Maybe you don’t want to read it or maybe you just haven’t gotten to it yet. In any case, let’s get started…Yo. <3

I think it’s a crime I have yet to start on this series. I know it’s been around for a long time and I’ve been eyeing it longingly. But at the same time, issn’t there like two books in the series?

Or did the author just come out with another, making it a trilogy?

                                    Over to you:

Have you guys read this series yet? Have you read anything else by this author? ALSOOO, what books have you guys been virtually sitting on? Any recommendations?

  1. A book I have been virtually sitting on is The Retribution of Mara Dyer, the conclusion to the Mara Dyer series. I would definitely advise you to read The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer trilogy. Es muy fantástico. Also, your blogging voice is humorous and brings a smile to my face. 🙂

    • That series is really popular but I have het to read it girl. I’m going to give it a try and then try The Retribution of Mara Dyer. It sounds kind of scary though. Hehe

  2. There is a third that highlights certain parts from book one, Beautiful Wedding I think is what it is called and now there is a spin off series as well called The Maddox Brothers. I did really like the first book but there are a ton of people that hated it because Travis is the typical alpha male butt head at times.

So I read Beautiful Disaster when it first came out and I hadn’t really read a lot of NA — I liked it BUT it is a ton of unnecessary drama. Then I read Walking Disaster and it was seriously so pointless — I see no need to read both (Walking Disaster is seriously just a re-telling from the Travis’ POV)

Thanks for stopping by My WoW!

    • Now see, sometimes I really like a little bit of drama in my books but not too, too much to where it becomes childish or something. So thanks for the advice girlie. ♡

  4. Er.. I would advise against reading this series. This couple is so unhealthy 😛 But we all have our likes and dislikes, I guess 😛 Just know that you are not missing much if you don’t read it!

    • I’ve just heard some talking about how good it was so I just wanted to be on the “in” so I could be able to gush about them too hehe but most, like you, tell me not not to waste my time. 😉 so thanks girl!:)

  5. I love Beautiful Disaster, loved it! But I’d skip Walking Disaster. It’s pretty much the same novel in Travis’ POV–if you love him. Go for it, but I skipped the second and I did love him!

    • Dang well I hope the author changed up at least a little bit of the story so that it’s not just a play by play of the first story? If so…. ain’t nobody got time for that! Teehee

  6. I read the first one and liked many things about it, but also found an equal amount to not like. Stupid decisions, lack of communication and drama, but also a steamy college love story of opposites. I think it is a matter of taste or mood and not so much that the book is bad or weak.

I chuckled b/c I have lots on my shelf that really needs my attention and was a hit with lots of people so I grabbed it. I’m slowly working through them and kicking myself for waiting so long on many of them.

    • Girl I’m going through the same thing right now! Like, I have so many books but there’s so little time to read them all and then I end up adding more books to my shelf and…never get read hehe and I’ve been getting mixed answers on whether or not I should read this. I may still give it a try though. Thanks Sophia. ♡♡

  7. I have so many virtual books that I own that I need to get to, it’s not even funny. Lol. One day, I hope to get them all read:)

  8. I want to try Beautiful Disaster! That book has been popping up everywhere for me lately, and I get the impression I would love it.

  9. I haven’t read this series yet because I’m not the biggest fan of bad boys, and I’m super picky with my NA. but I should give it a shot because the first book is on my shelf lol

    • Hey Jeann!

Hmmm. If you’re picky about your NA, I would say you should give this one a try because it doesn’t rely heavily on all the steam/drama that NA has in it. 🙂

  10. I have read the first book a long time ago and then i really enjoyed it, but it was one of my first contemporary romances atter years of not reading them, so that may also have something to do with it. I haven’t read Walking Disaster though and not really interested enough to continue the series.
